The researcher's central aim of embarking on this study is to investigate why radio was used as a propaganda tool in the Second World War (1939-1945). The researcher made use of the Historical Critical-Analysis method of research; making use of secondary sources of data ranging from archives to internet sources to give an inter-disciplinary interpretation of the research questions raised in the study. The result of the analysis revealed that radio was used to end the Second World War and it still had a place as the dominant communication and entertainment medium even after the advent of television after the Second World War. It was recommended by the researcher that the modern generation should be liberated towards the use of Radio for more positive things rather than using it to satisfy the selfish desires of propagandists.
